Chapter 2, Verse 29, The Cow
سُوۡرَةُ البَقَرَة
هُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ لَكُم مَّا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَسَوَّىٰهُنَّ سَبۡعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٖۚ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٞ
huwa allathee khalaqa lakum ma fee alardi jameeaaan thumma istawa ila alssamai fasawwahunna sabaaa samawatin wahuwa bikulli shayin aaaleemun
He it is Who created for you all that is on earth. Then He istawa (rose over) towards the heaven and made them seven heavens and He is the All-Knower of everything.
Chapter 20, Verse 5, Taha
سورة طه
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ
alrrahmanu aaala alaaarshi istawa
The Most Beneficent (Allah) istawa (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty).
Chapter 25, Verse 59, The Standard
سورة الفرقان
ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٖ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ فَسۡـَٔلۡ بِهِۦ خَبِيرٗا
allathee khalaqa alssamawati waalarda wama baynahuma fee sittati ayyamin thumma istawa aaala alaaarshi alrrahmanu faisal bihi khabeeran
Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six Days. Then He istawa (rose over) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). The Most Beneficent (Allah)! Ask Him (O Prophet Muhammad ﷺ), (concerning His Qualities, His rising over His Throne, His creations, etc.), as He is Al-Khabir (The All-Knower of everything i.e. Allah).
Chapter 32, Verse 4, The Prostration
سورة السجدة
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٖ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ مَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَلِيّٖ وَلَا شَفِيعٍۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ
allahu allathee khalaqa alssamawati waalarda wama baynahuma fee sittati ayyamin thumma istawa aaala alaaarshi ma lakum min doonihi min waliyyin wala shafeeaain afala tatathakkaroona
Allah it is He Who has created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them in six Days. Then He istawa (rose over) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). You (mankind) have none, besides Him, as a Wali (protector or helper etc.) or an intercessor. Will you not then remember (or be admonished)?
Chapter 41, Verse 11, Explained in detail
سورة فصلت
ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَهِيَ دُخَانٞ فَقَالَ لَهَا وَلِلۡأَرۡضِ ٱئۡتِيَا طَوۡعًا أَوۡ كَرۡهٗا قَالَتَآ أَتَيۡنَا طَآئِعِينَ
thumma istawa ila alssamai wahiya dukhanun faqala laha walilardi itiya tawaaan aw karhan qalata atayna taiaaeena
Then He istawa (rose over) towards the heaven when it was smoke, and said to it and to the earth: "Come both of you willingly or unwillingly." They both said: "We come, willingly."
